Talpa Independent School

The following information from Ralph Terry, Coleman County Historian and Owner of Terry Studio, Photography (03-26-13):  "Talpa High School – this school consolidated in 1985 to Panther Creek School.  The land and buildings were sold and are privately owned today.  I will have to check with some local contacts for more information about its ownership.  The 1930 school building is still there.  I am not sure if your grandfather was the architect for the 1919 (I think it burned) or the 1930 building.  I will have to check further."
